Ron Miller II

Chief Probation Officer – Riverside County

Ron Miller II has 34 years of probation experience.  He began his career with the San Bernardino Probation Department in 1987 as a Group Counselor in juvenile hall.  In 1989, he was hired as a Deputy Probation Officer for Riverside County.  Since then, he has worked in a variety of assignments, including juvenile and adult, institutions, and armed assignments.  He has been an executive leader since 2011 and was promoted to Chief Probation Officer in 2020.  Ron has a master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from California Baptist University and a Bachelor’s Degree in English from Cal State University San Bernardino.  He is a veteran, having served in both the United States Marine Corps and with the California Army National Guard.  Ron has been married for 33 years.  He has 4 children and 3 grandchildren.
